This December school holidays The Academy of Grounding is running an important interactive workshop that aims to arm our kids with principles of stranger awareness and safety when dealing with common non-consensual social behaviour or aggressive situations.

Over 3 hours kids will learn about
+ Basic Self-Defence Techniques
+ Awareness and Avoidance Strategies
+ Assertiveness Training
+ Escape Skills for Dangerous Situations
+ Understanding Personal Safety
+ Post incident reporting considerations
+ Building Confidence and Resilience

All activities conducted in a safe, monitored and friendly environment.

This special workshop is co-facilitated by Self Defence & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Professor Antonio Lauro Rodrigues and Mat Reeves former member of the Australian Army and current Queensland Police Instructor.
